"The thing about meditation is, you become more and more you." - David Lynch

Hi everyone, how are you feeling today? Is your inner fire activated for the week? ❤️‍🔥

Ready to bring your most authentic self to the world and make amazing things happen around you?

When I started meditating in 2012, one of the first major realizations I came across with, was understanding the fact that there are several layers of being, and that most of the time I wasn't living life from my core being - the real me.

I was using the mask self a lot - and that was probably one of the reasons I wasn't feeling happy and fulfilled. The mask self is that outermost layer of our personality, that is shaped by societal conditioning. It's made of the beliefs and behaviours we've learned to adopt to conform and fit in - to be socially acceptable. It's the persona we present to the world. It can even become the dimension of our identity we associate with when we think of ourselves.

But the mask self is not the real thing.

There is something else that is much more real, deep and powerful.

Something where our unique talents, gifts, passion, purpose and potential reside.

A real and authentic source of energy that is limitless, pure and loving.

Going Within to Access Your True Authentic Self

So how can meditation help us in the quest for finding our true selves ?

The one that is peaceful, compassionate, wise and joyful ?

The one that the world truly needs ?

When we meditate, we embrace the role of an explorer who's taken on the mission of investigating what's truly going on inside the mind. It's a journey of self-discovery where we get to see the good, the bad and the ugly. At times, it might be scary and intense. We're going to watch the movies that we obssessively play in our heads and all the things we've decided to embrace that are causing us pain.

We might come across with the roots of our fears, old burdens and traumas we weren't even aware of.

This is all part of becoming who we truly are.

By learning to be present in the moment without judgment, we learn to accept our authentic feelings, thoughts and experiences without being influenced by external pressures or expectations.

By tapping into our inner wisdom, we start understanding what our core values truly are and we make decisions that resonate with our most authentic self.

By connecting to the real source of our being, we understand that everything we seek outside of ourselves already exists in us. And that the more we act from that place, the more we are able to manifest it outside of ourselves too - thus, helping to make the world a better place! 🌍

Authenticity As A Sure Way to Live a Happy, Fulfilling Life

"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.", said Ralph Waldo Emerson.

It's not easy to be authentic. Especially in a world where social media, hyper-information and societal expectations constantly shape and influence our perceptions of ourselves and others. The pressure to conform to idealized standards often makes it challenging to embrace our true selves without fear of judgment or the need for validation.

In any given day, we are exposed to so many influences.

The more we make time to come back and connect with our core being, the more we develop our intuition and inner wisdom to understand which of those influences are actually helping us become the best version of ourselves (and which are not).

By staying centered and aligned with the deepest parts of our being, we can develop the capacity for discernment needed to choose to stay in the light as we walk our path on Earth.

It is by accessing our inner source of light and being completely ourselves, that we lighten up the world around us.

Can you imagine a happier and more fulfilling life than a life truly lived ? 😊

Love,

💗

Tati
